Work alongside a student with specific needs while attending Outdoor School. Your commitment will ensure that ALL students are able to fully participate in ALL Outdoor School activities.

student leader Volunteers

Are you a high school or college student? Many Outdoor School programs around the state need students to volunteer as student leader. This is a life-changing experience for you and the fifth- or sixth-grade students you mentor. (It also looks fantastic on your resume!)

Come share what you know about natural sciences, Oregon agriculture and industries, the great outdoors! Culturally specific presentations are particularly requested. Your visit will help students prepare for their upcoming Outdoor School experience.

Expert Trainer for Outdoor School Staff or Classroom Teachers

Want to share your special skill, expertise or knowledge with adults? Come train Outdoor School staff or classroom teachers about your field of expertise so that they may share with Outdoor School students.

Corporate Volunteer Day

Need to build your team, increase company morale or just get out of the office for some fresh air? We can help you plan a corporate volunteer day at an Outdoor School Site.

VOlunteer to chaperone students

Certain schools need adult chaperones for their Outdoor School programs and many parents are not able to volunteer because of work or family obligations. Reach out to your local school district to ask if they need any help in this area.
